*Boom…Boom* Thunder wakes me at 5 am. I hear the sound of torrential rain and thunder. The rain continues on as I again wake up at 8 am. We get ready and walk to the taxi in the rain. We make it to the Dive BVI shop and eat inside. Afterwards we get on our boats and head for Mt. Point for our first dive. The rain drizzles on as we set up our gear and begin the dive. My group lead by Casey dives through the area. We see a pair of eagle rays and a large lobster. We also swim through the cave grotto. After this dive we do our next dive. Nick Dell and I set down the 100 meter transect line in front of our boat then snorkel around. After every team is done with the reef check we go to lunch. After lunch we do the discussion about our course. Afterwards we leave and go to dinner. We had excellent lasagna at Mad Dogs. We had birthday cake and filled out our log books. This trip has been so fun so far.
