Today was similar to yesterday because we woke up and headed out at 8:30 and ate breakfast at the BVI dive center. After breakfast(which was my favorite so far) we boarded the Sea Dragon and headed out for our first dive site. We made our way to Mountain Point which is where both dives took place. The first dive was just a fun dive that we made around the spot where we were going to lay our transect line and take our fish and coral count. Our fun dive was really fun, hence the name fun dive. We saw two huge spotted eagle rays. The rest of the dive I spent my time going inverted and doing back and front flips. After that dive we took a short 30 minute break while we got briefed for our fish identification dive. Casey assigned everyone a different job and Alec and I got assigned to lay down the 100 meter transect line. The transect line only took 25 minutes to lay down so Alec and I just used our remanding air do some flips. When the dive ended we were allowed to snorkel around that same area. As I jumped in the water I was immediately met by a jellyfish waiting below me. The sting was sudden but it eventually went away. I snorkeled for a while but got cold and returned to the boat. After everyone was finished with their assigned jobs we packed and headed back for the harbor. The boat ride was very smooth and as a result, I took a wonderful nap. After we got back to the hotel and chilled for a while we headed to Mad Dogs for one more round. It was lasagna night and oh my it was good. I had more than I could hold and on top of that we had Sean and Nick T’s birthday cakes to eat. Btw the way id like to give a birthday shout out to my roommate Nick. And finally I’d like to give another shout out to my boy Seany Tomlinson. Happy birthday bro. I’m gonna give you your 20 dollar birthday present as soon as I get back to the U.S. Well it was a good last day of diving in BVI. Tomorrow is gonna be good with the banquet and getting ready to go home.
