Today began at 8:30, waiting for the taxi. We rode in the taxi to the marina where we had a delicious breakfast. After that we boarded the boats and set up our diving gear. We traveled about 20 minutes to the wreck of the Rhone for our first dive. We briefed the dive and then jumped in. We had to make sure to hold onto the rope, for the waves were very large and the wind was strong. Our dive was from 75-30 feet for about 50 minutes. The wreck was very cool and was teaming with life. We saw some mackerel and some big yellowtail snappers. There was also a current that made it difficult to swim sometimes. After that dive we had a 45 minute surface interval and then began our dive at the Chromis Reef. We had a free descent with our partners and were joined at the bottom by our leaders. We toured around the reef using our fish identification books to mark down fish we saw. After this dive we had lunch on Cooper island and then snorkeled around there. We saw many rays and two barracudas. We then went to our cottages and then up to Mad Dog’s for dinner. We had Mexican food this time, not Caribbean food. Off to bed.
