It’s the fourth of July! And it’s my first time to celebrate it outside of the United States. How did we celebrate, by scuba diving in paradise. After a day of travel, we all got a good night’s rest, and woke up to head over to breakfast. We had breakfast and spent the morning in class, where Casey McNutt reviewed with us what we had learned and what the plan was for this week. We met the staff for dive BVI who had been working for several months on what we were going to be doing this week. After lunch, we left to go on our first dive! I was on the boat called Sea Monkey and we had Andrew and Sam Hansen as our guides. We did some review in the water, and also went exploring, while using our breath to stay buoyant the whole time. My buddy, Sean, and I saw feather dusters, baby conches, fire coral, cleaner shrimp, and all sorts of other fish! Not to mention, the water was beautiful! I’m loving every second of it!
