After saying adios to my family in the airport, My brothers and I boarded for the adventure of the summer. Reaching the beautiful islands safely, the amount of green, water, and overall nature right in my face was amazing. My roommates and I set up our accommodations and prepared to head out for a quick scuba. This resort allows us to head right off the doc and dive right into the water and explore. Almost immediately pairs of blue tang start dispersing from the ocean floor below me. Heading to my right, I see plentiful amounts of blue and yellow headed wrasse. The small and agile fish swim back under their rock formations to hide. Four eyed butterflyfish and a banded butterflyfish are munching down on the surrounding rock to try to get small organisms for food. The initial snorkel left me with so much excitement for the rest of the trip. The fact I saw all these fish without even scuba diving leaves me with endless possibilities of sea life to see during our two tank dive tomorrow morning!
