Day two here in paradise was another gorgeous one. Today was much different than the first. While the first day we all were overcome by the beauty of this foreign place, today we started to settle in and get comfortable with both each other and our surroundings. When we woke up we received another great breakfast that filled us with energy for our long and constant entertaining day. Our first activity was a lesson given to us by Casey, where she taught us some fascinating techniques to help us hold our breaths for much longer. For me these tricks helped tremendously and I was able to hold my breath for many more seconds. These techniques helped me in our free dive later in the day. We snorkeled around the famous baths here in the BVI, where we saw tons of beautiful fish of all kinds. We saw a massive sea turtle and a couple squid, but before this free dive we actually went turtle tagging. Turtle tagging is when you catch a turtle and you bring it to land where you measure the turtle and then you put a tag in the turtle where we can then understand more about the turtle and actually help the turtle population. We enjoyed a nice lunch of hamburgers on the beach, they were delicious. Something different about today was that today we actually did not do any scuba diving, yet we did a lot of snorkeling. This was a nice change of pace and allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Once we all were dead tired and exhausted we showered up and ate another great meal of Mexican delight at Mad Dogs. We again played games of bag toss. While Tucker and Guy reign victorious, Chris and I put up a major fight. After finishing up and enjoying a wonderful ice cream sundae we head back to the cabins where Joe, Buck, and I will enjoy a nice sleep ready to wake up and enjoy another blast of a day.
