First I learned that ecotourism is the responsible travel to natural areas which conserves the environment and improves the welfare of the local people. Ecotourism has negative and positive aspects. Them next article was about invasive species and I learned that invasive species actually gives more jobs to humans. Also that as the ships increase in size and number so do the invasive species. The third article was about chronic oil, and I learned that although the chronic oil spills never get much publicity they are more detrimental to the ocean. Another thing I learned was that the birds are the best indicator species because they live at the surface of the water. The final article was about artificial reefs and the most interesting fact that I thought was that anything that sinks into the ocean could possibly become an artificial reef. One more thing I learned about artificial reefs was that sometimes they can serve better than natural ones.
