Day 7: Fitting In

0

People of marine biology class, I bring you good fortune; no longer will I stand alone in class. Today my brothers I formed a bond that we never be broken; our minds our now one. Let us rejoice, for the day is near that our me voyage to the Land of Gorda. United we stand as brothers, under our common course and by Jesuit.

Although the path has been set, it still remains clear. Our teachers have done the best they could to prepare us for this revolutionary adventure, but now it is up to us. Can we handle the trials that are set before us. As a student of Jesuit college prep I vow to take on whatever misfortunes that lay on my path; to inscribe my name onto the forsaken land of Gorda.

However, tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history; but today is a gift(that is why it is called a present). Today in class we discussed the articles in class, blah blah blah; what what most exciting was our group board presentations. The assignment was to create a coral reef through asexual production with only one larva staged coral. My group chose to raise it in an controlled ocean aquarium, others chose different ones.

This topic was so important because it is most like what scientist do in the field of marine biology but on a way smaller scale. My group was the second group to present; however, my group never truly received critique. Tensions rose as two of my classmates caught over what they believed was the correct way to introduce new coral into am unnatural Eco system.

By the end of the day we were all friends again and ready for the trip.
