Today we started our second and final week of the in-class portion of marine biology, with everyone overflowing with excitement for the British Virgin Islands trip. However, what was in store for us quelled our excitement just a little, as we went hands on and dissected star fishes and squid, identifying their main external and internal anatomy. All of us had so much fun doing it, and we also saw a small taste of what we would be experiencing on our trip. We also had a quick, but interesting discussion on invertebrates and their different classes, such as echinoderm(the starfish class). Looking forward to the rest of the week, and the trip of greatness this weekend!
