After another rockin night of blogging, we all headed back to the casas and passed out. An unfortunately quick sleep resulted in another tired morning and a muggy morning. We left to the commissary of breakfast then a presentation on sea turtles, how to catch them, what they eat, etc. Soon after, everyone jumped on the bus and we headed to the marina, where half of the group was dropped off to go try and catch some turtles. My group went to savannah bay to snorkel and touch some slimy stuff. We got there and snorkeled for about an hour then felt some urchins, slugs, and sea eggs on land. Then the best part of the day came when I got to sleep on the beach in the shade. I slept for an hour. I woke up and we left for the marina where we had some burgers and met up with the loser team that tried to catch turtles. They didn’t catch any. After eating we left for our try at catching some turtles. Right after leaving the dock we see one and try to chase it but we lose it. We hop in the boat and go to a secluded reef. The first group gets dragged behind the boat on ropes scanning for turtles. They had no luck, so my team had to clean some house and we found one within 5 min of being in the water. It swam to far and we found another one quick, then another one, then another one and eventually caught that last one, measured it, took some pictures, tagged it, and returned it home. After that we headed back to dock and jumped in the bus back to the houses. I went to the restroom and showered, it was relaxing. Then we went to mad dogs for lasagna. I had lasagna. Then I ate a sundae and played frisbee once again. The second best tart of the day came when I talked to Jeff and other Jeff about really crappy action movies from the 80s that for some unexplainable reason I needed to watch. I’ll watch them and the review will be on its way. Then that brings me to the writing of my blog while watching some weird cat guy on tv. Bye see you tomorrow fans
