Today was the last day on Virgin Gorda, and we had a relaxing day. MB1 painted a mural, and MB2 hunted lionfish for a barbecue tonight. Once we finished the mural we ate lunch after watching Jeff filleting the lionfish they caught. They caught 10 in all, and Jeff had 3 frozen from the week before. Afterwards, we were given the rest of the day to ourselves, so I went souvenir shopping for the family and played football on the beach with everyone. We dressed nice for the lionfish barbecue and said our goodbyes to the Dive BVI staff. It was a great experience here in Virgin Gorda, and I’d like to give a shout out to all of them for being awesome teachers and dive masters. I learned an enormous amount about the life under the waves, and I got a lot more comfortable with diving. All in all, this was an amazing class, and I wish I could come again next year.
