I decided to take this class for several reasons. Regular biology was one of my favorite classes thus far at Jesuit, so taking another one was appealing to me. I’ve also been interested in diving for years. I was certified about four years ago, and have been diving in countless places, including Hawaii and all over the Caribbean. Since my original certification, my dad and I took several extra classes over several summers, and both reached the ‘master scuba diver’ ranking. The thing I’m looking forward to the most in this class is learning more details about all the things that I’ve seen in my past dives, and learning more about the causes and effects of humans on the environment.
