Today we woke up and had a class session with lunch and breakfast at an air conditioned portion of a nearby hotel, the room was set up for their prom tonight so although it had a capacity of about 30 people max, it was pretty fancy. After lunch we went to Valley Trunk and did our first dive. We went down about sixty feet on a scattered reef and practiced the same old skills we did in the lake before going on a tour around the reef where we saw loads of stuff, from fish and moray eels to lions and squirrelfish. I am on SeaDragon boat with mrs. Casey McNutt and her assistant Brian from Ireland, my dive partner is Tanner Davis and he’s got a “go pro” camera that hopefully got some good pictures. Now we’re off to dinner at MadDogs for pizza. Tomorrow we dive in what sounds like a more flourishing reef and practice identifying fish species.
