The second article was about the invasion of alien fish species and how it can negatively affect the ecosystem that is already in place where the new species is. An example of this is the lion fish in the BVI which has wiped out the native fish in the area due to its predatory skills. The third article was about how oil spills are detrimental to marine life, such as penguins, who stay at the surface and are most affected by it. Oil is extremely harmful to any organism living in the ocean. The last article was about artificial reefs and how they are just as efficient as natural ones, but they take much less time to develop. This is helpful in the rebuilding of damaged reefs in a shirt amount of time.
