Today I saw that just snorkeling on the beach can be a lot of fun, and that just three things could really define my whole day. Those were: snorkeling at Savannah Bay, exploring the Baths, and chillin with the DJ after dinner. I woke up today knowing that we would not be diving, nand I was a little sad from this during the morning class but as soon as we got to Savannah Bay, I was quickly uplifted and couldn’t wait to get in that crystal clear island water. When we all finally were clear to snorkel, we rushed into the ocean like madmen and what I saw was as amazing as I pictured. The reef was obviously shallow at first so all that beauty of life around them was right in front of my face. Who gets to see that everyday? As we all went farther out, we saw even more diverse life; such as sea urchins, stoplight parrotfish, and even a moon jellyfish. Just when I thought all the fun was over, we regrouped a little more than an hour after we got back to our rooms and walked over to none other than The Baths, one of Virgin Gorda’s most beautiful attractions. I was so pumped; we twere talking about this so much and looking at pictures of it before the trip. There, we explored the famous caves of the Baths, which were mostly granite and pretty amazing. Going through this we climbed atop many rocks and waded across some of the natural tide pools in the caves. With this done, we went to a nice restaurant right by the harbor. It was Mexican buffet night and the food was delicious. After a pretty stuffed dinner, we all stumbled upon an open bar patio with a DJ blasting music. Starting out, most of us were just sitting at the tables and talking, but then some of the guys started requesting songs and we all got into it; even Sam and Casey were dancing. It was a great night to end a very fun day.
