In Hawaii, I am looking forward to exploring the differences between diving in Hawaii rather than the Virgin Islands. When we were diving in Virgin Gorda, the environment seemed relatively controlled and calm due to the low depths of the ocean itself. Because Hawaii has deeper ocean depths, I am excited to see how diving is and how I respond to th change in environment. Also, I look forward to seeing the larger marine life in addition to the opportunities outside of diving.
My past diving experience primarily revolves around the Marine Biology 1 trip. Up until this point, I have roughly 12 dives under my belt. However, I will be diving in Turks and Caicos prior to the Hawaii trip.
Overall, I can’t wait for this trip and I’m ready to continue my diving experience.
