My interest in Marine Biology

I decided to take marine biology because I have always had an inherent interest in the ocean especially in regards to diving. It is likely this drive to study the ocean was implanted in me by my father who was an avid diver and outdoor/ocean enthusiast. On top of that, who doesn't enjoy the beach!?!

Day 2

Today, I woke up around 7:00 to the sound of Mr. Ben Kirby waking us up for the last time. Once we were all showered and ready to go, we took our bus down to breakfast to start the day. After a delicious omelet breakfast, we started heading to the boats to start our diving. We started by going...

The first day of our adventure

On our first day today, I got woken up at 7:00 am by the glorious noise of a rooster. We had a while to get ready in the morning, then we all met up at our taxi bus thing. We rode there until we reached the people of dive BVI. We then had breakfast and played games for...

Today we started off with a great breakfast of omelets, we then proceeded to our first dive at Paul's Grotto and the special fish we saw were a HUGE lobster hiding underneath a rock, and sea urchins. After a surface interval and a snack we went on our second dive at West Seal Dog Island. This was my...

Day 4 BVI

Day 4 Today we woke up an hour later than normal, thank the stars, so we could go to Doc, Mrs. Boyle, and Mr. Kirby's hut for some breakfast. Casey and another dove BVI member brought us the closest thing to home food we could get: wrapped bars, apple juice, yogurt, and honey buns. We want back to our cabin...
