Day 3 Blog

The day began with the standard breakfast, the standard trip to the marina, and the normal setup routine. Strangely, our first dive provided little excitement, as we saw nothing notable save for a handful of stingrays. Our second dive, despite taking place around an airplane wreck, provided even less excitement. The real fun only began after lunch, when the annual beach games took place. Going in, it seemed as though Team Lime would win by a mile, but Team Plum claimed an early lead that persisted until the fifth and final event, where the favored Team Lime tied the score with an outstanding performance in the relay race. The tiebreaker was even more of a blowout, and Team Lime were crowned outright champions of the 2017 Beach Games. The games were followed by an amazing dinner, prepared by Captain Rupert of the Sea Monkey, as well as a night snorkel that produced such sights as tarpon, reef squid, jellyfish, and an octopus. However, due to a malfunctioning flashlight, I was forced to retire from the endeavor prematurely. Tomorrow will undoubtedly be full of adventure as well.
