Today was my first day back in paradise and we picked up right where we left off. The morning started early with the same breakfast we will eat all week (exciting) cereal, granola bars and juice. After breakfast we went out to our first dive at Bronco Billy and the water was amazing and perfectly clear. The first dive was a check out dive to see if we remember what we learned and to see if we can still dive and let’s just say some divers are better than others in my group. The dives were great besides the constant bumps from some divers who remain nameless. After we finished our first dive we went to the chimney dive which was apparently Jacque Cristo’s favorite place to hangout in the BVI according to Zultan.(see picture) The chimney also got its name because it looks like a part of a mountain that when you climb it you push your back to one side and feet and hands to the other side and shimmy up. After our dives we went back to the resort and had a about two hours of free time. Everyone went up to their rooms besides Julian, Dawson and I we all headed down to our beach and went for a hour snorkel around the reef systems by our beach. It was a great snorkel we saw a small ray and many crabs around the rocks. After the snorkel we decided to hunt lizards on the way back to the cabin to hide in our friends beds you can say they will have a nice surprise tonight. (Kidding maybe) After a quick shower our group met with our dive instructor to go over the seats of our project and make sure we won’t mess up on it. We are now currently waiting to go to mass and have dinner. Today has been a great start to the week and I’m so glad I’m back down in the BVI it’s the most beautiful place in the world and I can’t wait to see what this week has in store. ⛵️
