The day began by waking up at 6:00 am in our cabin, then after we got ready we headed to counselors cabin to have breakfast with the rest of the group at 7:15. After breakfast we went back to our cabin changed into our bathing suits and rash guards grabbed our equipment and went on the bus to the marina. After arriving at the marina we got our tanks and our BCEs and went on the respective boats to the dive sites. Our first diving site which was called bronco billy, and we began the dive by running over recoveries such as recovering our regulator and clearing our mask. The dive area mainly consisted of sand and some moss and coral covered rocks. The second dive that we went on was off the coast of great dog of the dog islands. The reason for the name was that when Christopher Columbus discovered the island he hard a barking sound like there were dogs on the island but it was just monk seals who were killed by Columbus and his men. During the dive we swam through a downed plane that had be sunk by the diving corporations. During the dive we saw a turtle, shark, and a barracuda that were swimming by. After we returned to the marina at noon we had lunch then returned to the resort. At 3:30pm we went to the commissary where we met with our group leaders and discussed the project and the plan. At 5:15pm we went to church for an hour, and returned home at 6:30 and went to dinner.
