One of my favorite days yet. It was full of hard work, fun, and memories. We started off the day with breakfast as usual, and then we went to the local high school/elementary school to do some service. We planted some plants, vines, and trees, and we also filled some holes with concrete and organized their new library. We did this service with an orginization called Unite BVI, who helped pretty much organize it. After helping make the severely underfunded school look a little better, we went to eat and then shop at the Dive BVI store. Then we went back to Guavaberry to our houses and rested. We then went down to the internet for the “most important” part of the trip, our presentations. We presented our slideshow to a whole panel of judges like Doc Gruninger, Zoltan, Rupert, Casey, and Becca. Ours seemed to go pretty smoothly despite my rare feeling of nervousness. After that we went to a place for dinner with an amazing view, Top of The Baths. We ate a great buffet and saw a little bit of dancing from Robby and Parker, which was unforgettable. We also took pictures with our group’s dive master, Becca. We then watched a slideshow of a bunch of pictures from our trip put together by the dive staff, which was full of great memories and brought forth much laughter. All of the dive staff gave their own little speeches to us, my favorite being Zoltan’s, whose speech was short and sweet and with a heavy Hungarian accent. After those speeches, Team Becca brought it in one last time for a team group hug, sad to separate from our favorite member of the Dive BVI staff. A great trip came to a wonderful end at 9 o’clock in the internet sharing funny stories and working on our blogs. Tomorrow I hope for a safe day of travel without complications. This will surely be a trip I will never forget.
