Day 3:
This morning we woke up to the usual breakfast in the Plum cabin, I had corn pops. We then went to the boat via Glens purple pinstriped taxi wagon. As soon as we arrived we hooked up our BCD’s and put on our booties and got in the water for our first dive. After seeing the abyss that was the final resting place of the RMS (Royal Mail Service) Rhone, we descended into the dark blue and turquoise waters surrounding the islands vast network of coral reefs. We finally reached the max depth of 83 feet and proceeded to do the dive site. We first inspected the fish and corals and then went through the wreck. We went through the old ship and saw many stingrays. As the group exited, we proceeded by the old metal boilers and to the stern section. We saw the massive ship wrenches and then went and rubbed lucky port hole number 26, where the only passenger escaped and it is said if you rub it clockwise three time, you will get something that is Italian. Due to the depth and shortage of oxygen, we ascended to the surface and switched tanks. Then Jeff drove us to the Ginger Steps, at which we lowered and sat down to look at the Sharks. We saw 3 Caribbean Reef Sharks and also numerous creatures like, peacock flounders, trunk fish, and a queen trigger fish. We trolled around and soon after, came up to the angry seas. After we got on the boat, we un-strapped all of our gear and then went to Cooper Island for lunch. We arrived and noticed that the entire island is and eco friendly island. We went to their restaurant and had the best fish and chips of my life, soon followed by Oreo and Brownie gelato. We then did a snorkel around cooper islands sea grass plateau. We saw a green sea turtle noming on some grass until Schoenberg chased it away into the deep ocean. After we got back on the boat, we headed back to the cabins for some down time before dinner. At dinner we had chicken wraps and then played on the beach until the sun went out and when we thought we were done, the night snokel commenced. We viewed many creatures and saw three different Octopi. We also fed coral plankton and got ravaged by jellyfish. After that, I got a fanta and went to bed.
