The morning started early today, I woke up at 4:15 and headed promptly to dfw airport to catch our plane to Costa Rica. The flight was long, but we had an amazing view of the ocean and islands below us. Needless to say however, when we arrived in Costa Rica, I was eager to get off of the plane. We then waited for a few hours in the airport where we grabbed a snack and quick lunch. We then departed in a much smaller plane to Tortola, where we were greeted by customs officials, a beautiful view, and the friendly staff at Dive BVI. Everyone on staff that we’ve met so far has been very energetic and friendly.(Especially Casey) Next, we left Tortola on a super nice boat that took us to virgin Gorda. We then were shown to our rooms and had a pizza dinner. I am truly looking forward to everything to come in the following days and can’t wait to get into the water. It was a great first day, but I’m still ready for it to be over. (Because I’m tired)
