Plate techtonics would affect the research of marine biologists because plate techtonics influences the environment and therefor what lives there. One example would be that if two plates interacted and formed mountain ranges and another two plates interacted and created a trench the environments would be completely different and thus different marine life would live in those two environments and similiarly affecting the research of the marine biologists. Similarly marine biologist could probably use a model of plate techtonics to predict what the environments on the earth were like millions of years ago and predict what kind of species lived in thses environments based on fossils. For example Mt. Everest used to be under water so marine biologist can find fossils of ancient underwater animals on its slopes.
This is s box jellyfish one of the most poisonous animals on earth today!!! And some of them can be smaller than a human finger nail.
