After a very tough intro day yesterday, we started off the class in a much more relaxed manner. We just went over the two readings we read last night. They were some of the hardest articles I have ever read. We started learning about learning about the different types of scientists that make up the field of a marine biologist. We also learned how science is a process and a lot less linear than any textbook will tell you. We learned the difference between the scientific process and the scientific method. Overall, I consider this second day of class to be much more of a success because I started to learn what we are talking about! Still really looking forward to The trip so I can get out of the classroom and into the BVI!
