Alex, get out of the sun!
Day 3…
The day began with a breakfast. A marvelous and masterful breakfast of donuts. This cheered me up as my sunburns were pretty painful mostly because I forgot about them and tried to scratch my bug bites. Ouch!
After breakfast we spent the rest of the morning trying to catch turtles. It started raining about halfway through the morning. Shortly before the weather change we could see the rain slowly moving towards us from over the island in a wall. It was raining dog and cat fish. However, immediately after the rain ended we found a turtle… But it got away. At one point one of the Jeffs yelled “Alex, get out of the sun!” jokingly, to which I responded something along the lines of “sunscreen” *slather* *slather.*
After a lavish lunch of burgers we went to the beach and identified invertebrates with Caitlin’s “invertebrate bible.” (The bible was about invertebrates it isn’t a bible without a spine! 🙂 )
Then I slept for about three minutes and then got ready to go to dinner.
I haven’t gotten any other sunburns but everyone else has. *evil grin*
This was a pretty good day, sunburns and all.
I saw a barracuda today but not a turtle? Weird…
