Day three was a very active day. The morning led off with a snorkel and a touch tank. We dove with our instructors and collected things to look at in a tank. Once we got on land we picked up various sea urchins and coral to examine while the instructors told us all about them. We then had some free time to snorkel which was nice. As soon as we got out it started pouring down rain and it was very cold so i decided to just stay in the water. After a nice swim in the rain we went back to the marina and ate cheeseburger that were very good. The afternoon portion of the day was turtle tagging. It was alot like tubing and hunting at the same time because i was pulled by a rope connected to the back of the boat while watching for animals from above. After about fifteen minutes i saw a turtle and chased it for probally 100 yards in the ocean and then we cornered it in a reef. I was to out of breath to dive down 25 feet to get him so my classmate went down and caught him. After pictures were takin and measurements were made we released the turtle back snorkeled for a bit and then decided to call it a day. Its also safe to say as i am sitting here at dinner, that i will sleep well tonight.
