Today started out with Casey giving introductions and a review of what an exciting week Dive BVI have planned for both Marine Biology 1 and Marine Biology 2 courses. The guys got some pretty sweet looking T-Shirts.
Additionally, the Marine Biology 2 students scored sweet graduation gifts from Dive BVI, a Sea Life DC 1400 Pro Underwater Camera! (See Alex Curry’s palatable excitement in the above picture)
The guys had some time in and around the pool, without making a single splash!
After the pool break, Laura reviewed the flora and fauna found in the BVI, so that we all know what we are looking for while under the water. It’s pretty cool to enjoy a classroom session with a nice pool outside and the beach right down the street…
After Laura’s superb presentation and a delicious tilapia sandwich, we headed out to what everyone was looking for…water
After watching the guys descend and go through their “checkout” dive routine, I got distracted by a sea turtle (Hawksbill)…
We had a great day and can’t wait to get back in the water. For now, we are worn out and ready for bed…
Love,
Doc
