Today started at 4 in the morning. Outside the weather nice and calm so I fell back in bed and went back to sleep. At 8 I woke with a shout from Alec to find pouring rain and gusting winds. I hurried out of bed and into the taxi, soaked by the time I reached it. We drove to the marina and had breakfast in the dive BVI shop. We headed to the boat to stay dry and started to mountain point. Mountain point was unlike the other dives because the coral fell on a drop to a sandy base 60 feet down. We saw many fish but the coolest thing I saw was the spotted lobster and the fields of jellyfish in the open water. After coming back up to the boat, we were briefed for the transect line dive. I was to be last so once Alec and nick were back, we snorkeled to a cave in the rocks that Casey had showed them while diving. We swum under a rock and into a secluded area filled with thousands of bait fish. Back at the boat, Kells and I prepared for our transect dive. We descended and followed the transect line to a sand patch at the end where the reel sat. While I chilled underwater Kells picked up and untied the reel. Realizing how lazy I was being, I hurried to help him and we started rolling up the reel. 15 minutes later we were up on the boat heading for lunch. We ate lunch once again at the yellow hotel then answered questions in dive partners. Kells and I nailed our question about the characteristics of corals in the BVI. We headed back to the hotel and had lasagna at mad dogs.
