Day 14

0

What a day. We started the day of once again by leaving thr Guavaberry compound at 8:30 except today, we left for the marina where we ate breakfast. After we finished, we immediatley jumped onto the diveboat where we went to dive at a ship wreck. The ship that was called the HMS Rhone. The ship was made by the same company as the Titanic and was the first ship deemed unsinkable. After it sank they made the Titanic and shipped it unsinkable.both of those ships didn’t turn out to well. The estimated amount of liveson the shiplost was between 150 and 300 lives. We started the dive at the stern of the ship. It was about 50ft deep. It was veery cool because you could see the boiler and the lucky porthole. The lucky portholeis the pne porthole where one passenger managed to escape. Also, we swam underneath this collapsed ship structure right by the propeller. After a 45 minute to 1 hour wait before the next dive. The nest dive was a very cool reef dive. We practiced our fish identification skills. Afterwards we went to Copper Island where we ate lunch. Then we went snorkeling which was very fun becausein the first 5 minutes of snorkeling I saw a ray. Ten minutes later I stumbled within 5 feet of a 3 foot long baracuda. On my way back from snorkeling/freediving, I saw another baracuda. After scuba diving we went back to our resort and then to dinner on a hill overlooking the west islands. We were able to look at the sunset and it was just gorgeous. Well, that’s all. Tune in tomorrow.
