Today was awesome! We woke up and went straight down the path where the taxis always pick us up and went straight to the marina for breakfast and to leave for the day. We left after breakfast for some scuba diving at the Wreck of the Rhone which was so cool! We went down a little deeper than sixty feet and there was so much more life at this artificial reef than at the reef we saw two days ago. There was a pretty strong current at this location After a short surface interval we headed out to Chronis Reef which really cool and a saw a massive tarpon here that was at least three feet long and a butterfly fish that was probably 2 feet long.
After eating “fish and chips” at Cooper Island Beach Club overlooking Tortola (the main island of BVI) and St. Thomas in the distance. We then went snorkeling for about an hour off of Cooper Island. I saw a school of blue tang, multiple black spined sea urchins, a group of five sting rays, and some cool little fish in the sea grass.
We then had dinner down at Mad Dog and hung out around there and watched the sunset as it fell over the surrounding islands that’s where the picture is from.
