Our first day in the BVI began with a wake up call at 7:30. We then got all the stuff we needed for the day and left our cabin. Next we walked to the front Guava Berry Resorts and got a taxi ride from Speedy’s taxi service. The taxi tooks us to a hotel where we te breakfast. Next we meet all of the dive intrustors and began a briefing of our days activities which took an hour and a half. We then got about a 30 minute break, followed be lunch, a meal of sandwhiches, fries, chips and salad. After lunch we then left to the marina and had like 15 minutes to explore the marina. Our exploration of the marina was followed by a briefing about the boat, our activities, and emergency procedures. After and that we left for our dive site which was about 5 minutes away, upon reaching the dive site we got briefed on our dive and then dove. While diving we checked our peak performance abilities then played a game. The game conisted of seeing who could take the most waited and remain hovering, nuetrally bouyant underwater. I won, taking 9 extra pounds. We then explored a little and my group saw a huge sting ray, some jacks, baby conches, and a octapus hole. We then surfaced went to our cabins and after this we go to the beach for a BVI barbeque.
