I started my day by waking up at 3 AM and heading to the airport. After both flights and the long wait at customs to enter the country, we made it to Cobalt Coast.
Once we got to the resort, we got settled in, ate lunch, and eventually went snorkeling. The water was really choppy today so it was difficult to get readjusted to snorkeling, since it has been a while since I last snorkeled. The deeper we swam the more fish we began to see. I quickly noticed a banded butterfly fish hiding in some coral. I was able to identify it by the black and white vertical stripes that run down it. I also saw a four- eyed butterfly fish. This was pretty easy to identify because it’s bright yellow color made it standout in the water and it had black spot with the white ring around it near the back of it’s body. Finally, I saw a Blue Tang. I was able to identify it by its round shape, it blue color, and it’s smaller size.
