After an unrelenting and brutal flight schedule totaling nine flight hours, we finally arrived in Kona airport. Upon entering the van to drive to Homes Over Kona, I realized that I had left my sunglasses on the plane. After desperately searching for a cell signal Mrs. Hanson lending me her phone and I filed a missing object report. Despite this setback I am still optimistic about what the rest of my week holds. I ma most excited about the Blackwater dives as it is something that is new and not experienced by me. The comparison of it feeling like outer space was most intriguing to me as it’s dark and you experience the sensation of weightlessness. I am also looking forward to the Monk Seal sanctuary visit as they’re the most endangered marine animal in the world.
