This morning I woke up at 4:45 to go to the airport. After I continued to fall back asleep, I finally made it to the car and went to the airport. At the airport, once JJ arrived, we had an easy flight to San Francisco and then to Hawai’i (I slept a lot during the flight). Hawai’i was much more diverse than I expected. We saw a lot of goats on the road and the terrain was a lot more rocky than I expected. The houses that we are staying at are so cool. However, aside from being excited to be in Hawai’i, I feel very jet lagged. I am most excited for reef snorkeling. Reefs are my biggest interest because it seems like the most marine life lives around them and I love looking at different species of fish and other animals.
