BVI day 2

1

Today was really amazing but also was mixed in with a little problem. My day started out like the day before(I was woken by a couple of chickens. Next we headed down to the taxi to be taken to go get breakfast down at the hotel near the pool. After this we had a really interesting lecture from laura on all the different fish and coral species down here in the BVI. After this we all loaded up on the taxi again and were taken down to this really incredible beach called savanna bay were we went snorkeling. Snorkeling was amazing! There was tons of really cool fish in the coral reefs we swam over. The coral and fish were literally within a couple inches from my face. However while snorkeling I unfortunately broke my underwater video camera. Then after snorkeling we got out and had lunch and we all hung out by the beach. Then some of our dive instructors collected a couple sea anemones and some worms and we were taught all of there roles in the marine ecosystem. After this we went back down to the marine to get ready to dive. We went to the dog islands were we went diving at an area named the chimney. It was incredible! We went down in between this valley with huge cliffs on each side of us and we could only pass through one at a time. The valley was pretty long two. During the dive I saw a ton of fish and a massive Caribbean crab. Some of the fish included parrot fish, angel fish, and a massive grouper. Then once done we headed back to the cabins and are now getting ready to go to Mad Dogs and eat diner and have some fun!
