Grand Cayman Part 2

Wow…my first true open water dives today. They were honestly incredible and there is nothing else comparable to diving. The first dive was at School House reef, where I got all the way down to sixty three feet deep. I saw many angel fish and also even saw a lion fish in school house.I felt it really was just a dive for getting used to the depth because our next dive was an unforgettable experience. Rainbow reef was one of the most amazing displays of animal life as well as color I have ever seen. There were so many massive Parrot fish and so many different shapes, sizes, and color of coral. We even got to swim through a little tunnel under the coral, where I saw a live lobster. The dive masters took us to all of these incredible fish and coral spotting places and depths where I saw things I have never seen or experienced before. I also saw a grouper and many royal gramma braslet which was a fish smaller than your pinky. The coolest parts by far were swimming side by side with the parrot fish and the tunnel that we swam through. I loved diving in the open ocean so much better than the lake because of how clear and warm the water was, as well as the visibility being extraordinarily better than in the lake. We came back to the resort after, and we rested before dinner. After dinner we had a small debate on whether or not sting ray city is humane or not. Our discussion was actually extremely productive and we made some pretty astounding conclusions regarding the subject. I am very excited to go and visit Sting Ray City tomorrow and am excited for our other dives tomorrow as well.
