I chose to take marine biology because I have an interest in biology but mostly because I have never SCUBA dived and am eager to try. 1) I decided to take this class because some of my friends were taking it, scuba diving in clear ocean waters sounded like a cool experience, and I could knock out one my science credits for senior year. I chose marine biology because it seemed like a lot of fun and I enjoyed freshman biology. Also, I thought that going down to the BVIs sounded kind of cool.
