BVI DAY 3

The roosters woke me up an hour early today. Breakfast was normal. Today we did two more dives for our research projects. Dive no.1 was unsuccessful, because we only found 1 sponge. Dive no.2 however, made up for it. We collected data from 9 different barrel sponges. I also saw a pufferfish. Before we returned to land, me and some of the other guys in our group took turns jumping into the ocean from the second floor of our boat. Once we made it back to land, we ate lunch. We were free until 3:00. At 3:00, we all met up at the beach and played beach games. After the beach games, we had a BBQ cook out. Unfortunately, the hamburgers took forever to cook. Fortunately, one of the dive instructors gave me the idea for a lasagna cheeseburger. Needless to say, it was amazing. 10/10 would eat again. We hung out on the beach after for an hour after, then we begun our night snorkel. I saw huge schools of bloodworms, a few tarpin, and some green fire coral. We also saw a baby squid and a baby octopus. I was really surprised halfway through the dive because I was stung by multiple jellyfish. Rain started to pour down on us 20 minutes into the dive. Towards the end of the dive, I saw two camouflaged flounder and a tiny crab. After the dive, I spent about 15 minutes trying to find my way back to my cabin.
