Day 2

Today can only be described as amazing. The day started with our group heading to gingers hole(dive sight) to start our project dives. We are trying to test and see if certain fish visit cleaning stations more than others. The first dive was more than just work too, we swam with sharks and also saw dolphins on the way over to the dive sight. While there we tested our theory at two different dive sights and measured our results on underwater paper. After this dive is the only part of the day I don’t enjoy because I got seasick. This minor setback limited me from going on the second dive which is okay because I got the rest I needed to bounce back for the rest of the day. After a long boat ride back to land we went and got some lunch that was pretty good. After lunch is when the best part of the trip probably happened. Marine 2 got to go to Sir Richard Branson’s Necker island. This island was beautiful i wish I could stay there because there is honestly no place like this in the world. We got the play with lemurs and turtles and much more. The experience was once in a life time and I will always remember getting to play with a blind flamingo named lucky. The experience of being on necker island was very exciting I hope one day I can go back. After leaving necker island me and and the marine 2 guys had a jam sesh on the boat back to the harbor which was tons of fun and allowed us to bond even more this trip and get to know each other. Upon arriving back at home we had dinner and I lead prayer today and I really enjoyed doing so. Dinner was a simple meal of spaghetti and meatballs but was very good on my empty stomach. We then concluded the day with talks about top players in their respective sports and a massive game of ultimate frisbee on the beach
