Day 6 in the BVI

1

Today fletcher woke me up at 7:20 and I did not want to wake up at all. We got up and got breakfast at boug and then went straight to work at the local public high school and primary school . This school was severely underfunded and there was only about 140 kids between the two. Me and Nicky shoveled gravel out of a truck bed for about an hour while other lifted it  platform. I planted 3 trees. Had a lot of fun singing a long and working for a good cause. After all the hard work we took A couple of group pics and went to eat at chez bamboo where I had some really good quesidallas. We all went back to our cabins and showered. My group and I came back down to the wifi room to give our presentations. Our presentation was about the relationship between the amount of algae on coral and the health of the coral. I took over explaining our data and my experience as a snorkeler and then explaining what limited our experiment. Zoltan asked a question that basically reveresed our whole experiment and we thought that it would be a good experiment for the next group that comes down here. We’re about to go to a buffet and I’m going to eat and get some sleep. Can’t wait to get home and see my family and sleep in my own bed with air conditioning.
