Turtle Hunting + More Frisbee

1

Today, I woke up very early in the morning because I went to bed early e night before. I tried to go back to sleep but woke up a couple minutes later so I decided to just listen to music until everyone else woke up. We met down in the wifi room for breakfast, donuts and cereal. During breakfast, we went over a slideshow on turtle identification, presented by Dr. Gore, turtle extraordinaire. Then we went down to the marina and went turtle tagging. 4 guys would jump on the buoys that we’re dragged by the boat and hold on while searching for turtles. I had the great honor of watching the lines through the brief yet fierce rain, rain as cold and sharp and ice, which pelted my back as I the others who weren’t watching lines hid in fear under the roof of the boat. When I jumped in and rode the buoys, I saw a turtle and everyone jumped in and we swam after it. Unfortunately, it was extremely fast and darted off whenever we got close. After the failed turtle hunt, we had burgers and fries for lunch. Once we arrived at the beach, we did a quick study on sea urchins and spent the rest of the afternoon free diving and playing frisbee. For dinner, we ate lasagna at Mad Dogs. Of course, after dinner, we played more frisbee, making sure to curve it with the wind for trick shots.
