Fish ID test

2

Day two was a great day in the water. Our morning activity was a snorkel at “the baths” where we saw a ton of different fish and a barracuda. The afternoon activity was a very fun dive where we saw a reef shark, sea turtle, lion fish and many more cool fish. The other cool thing about todays dive was that i went with Jeff as my instructor who almost always brings a spear gun in the case of us seeing lion fish. Today i got to see him kill a lion fish and then once he had killed it an eel started to eat off of the fish. This experience in my opinion was the best first row seat when it comes to watching nature do its thing. One challenging thing about today was that we were expected to be able to ID all of the fish we saw in the ocean. I am generally not the best at remembering things so it took me a while to remember what each fish looked like. I am no expert now, but I can at least say i have a better feel for the names of some common fish. I like to consider myself a glass half full kinda guy so I think its better than nothing. I have still been overall pleased with the food that I have been fed with so thats all good too. Im the type of guy where if i have at least some decent food in me and a fun group of guys to be with I can have fun doing just about anything. So im having a blast so far and hopefully it stays fun throughout the week. Im not sure if my family even knows about this blog but if yall are reading this I love you guys and i will see you in a few days.
