The week has come to a close

Wow! What a week. I can not believe it is already over, very possible that it was the quickest week of my life. Not only was this the quickest week but one of the best. This week was awesome, filled with a variety of activities such as diving 80 ft deep to playing frisbee on the beach. This week was made by all the instructors. They planned out a beautiful trip and it was executed to the greatest it could be. Casey and Jeff led the way while Brian and Laura helped immensely with all of us. The instructors interacted with us in a way where we felt as if they were not just our leaders but our friends. We could speak with them as if they were one of us 16 or 17 year olds. This is what really made the trip, I could go scuba diving in other places and do some of the same activities that we did, but they wouldn’t be near as enjoyable because there wouldn’t be this group of people with us. I just want to thank each and everyone of the instructors, including the Jesuit staff, for making this trip so enjoyable and smooth. My favorite part of the trip was the wreck dive, for it was awesome to actually move about through the Rhone and to understand how the ship went down. To go along with the wreck dive, another favorite part was just hanging out on the beach with all my buddies. It was great to take a little time off and just relax. My dive group was great. We all did well with Casey leading the way. Casey made us much better divers, at the beginning of the weak we were all a little timid with our skills, but by day 5 Casey had us hovering upside down and planting coral. It was awesome to develop new skills. The entire BVI was just beautiful. Everywhere we went there was a great view with beautiful clear water surrounding it. I really became attached to the place and felt sad to leave. When it was time to say goodbye, it was tough. I did not want to leave; I had so much fun. Once again thank you to all who made this happen, both on the scene and behind the scenes. I know this took a lot of hard work to make this week happen and I can not tell you how appreciative I am for this. Thanks for the awesome week and maybe I will be back for Marine Biology 2, which would be awesome.
