Day 4 in BVI

3

Day 4 here might have just been my favorite day yet. It was awesome. Once we woke up we immediately headed to the boat where we were about to make our first dive of the day. This dive was so cool to me because we dove at a shipwreck site. We were able to actually swim through the different levels and decks of the once named “unsinkable” ship. I saw my three favorite fish on this dive which were a sea turtle, a moray eel, and a barracuda, each of which were very large. After our first dive we were taught all about the history of the Rhone. Casey gave an awesome history and great insight on how and why the ship went down. She told us that the Titanic and the Rhone are the only two ships labeled unsinkable, and crazy enough they both sank. Once we were out of the water for an hour we hopped back in and went for another dive around different parts of the ship. On this dive we saw many more interesting and new fish. On these two dives we actually reached a new depth of 78 ft which was cool. I love looking up at the surface of the water when I am way down on the bottom. Once we all were running low on air we came up and then drove the boat to Cooper Island Beach Club where we ate lunch. This lunch was my favorite meal so far. The meal was filled with fish and chips. The french fries were excellent with a delicious seasoning on top that gave just the right amount of spice and kick. The fish was flaky and delightful. Once we had finished eating we took a tour of the club and learned many new things about how this club uses the sun and rain water for energy. This club is very eco-friendly. Once that was done with we took a nice snorkel around the Island, where we saw some beautiful barracudas and sting rays. After showering up and getting ready to go to another fun filled dinner at Mad Dogs, we head down and enjoy a buffet of lasagna with garlic bread. Today was an awesome day, my favorite so far, and I am just ready for tomorrow to start.
