Day two at the BVI,

After a tiring trip arriving to the British Virgin Islands, the next morning Doc stops by at our cabin at about 8:15 to make sure we are awake. We(Sean, Alex, Andrew, Chris and I) had to be at the gate before 8:30, as it were assigned the night before. After we had gone up and ready, we walked to the gate but there we waited for about 20 for our taxi guy Glen to come by and pick us up and take us to breakfast in a nice place called Old Yard. There we ate and had orientation to all the events that will occur in our stay here. After breakfast the orientation was given by four scuba masters that will guide us throughout the week, They were Jeff, Casey, Laura and Brian. They all gave there personal background and the expectations for this week. Then they divided all of us into two groups, Sea Monkeys and Sea Dragons. Those are the name for the boats we were assigned to dive from. My boat was Sea Dragon and consisted of the following persons(Brian, Casey, Francis, Bennet, Alex, Guy, Ty, Jeff, Christian, Luke, Joe and I). As we got in the boat and got ready to depart, Brian gave specific instructions about the scuba gear like for instance the appropriate way to set it up and break it down. He also showed us were all the safety items are located on the boat and how to use the emergency pure oxygen tank and mask.after that we departed from the harbor we sailed to valley trunk were we did our first dive at the BVI. It was an instructional dive that consisted of various skills that we had already learned before being certified. After the skills test Brian gave us a tour around the area where we saw a diverse number of marine life that we’re mainly coral. After a forty-four minute dive we were taken back to our cabins to rest for a bit, and
a chance to shower off the salty sea. Till then it was time for dinner where we ate at Maddogs enjoying the nice homemade pizza and games that were provided there. That was the day 2 at the BVI cannot wait for tomorrow for more adventurous fun with Jeff, Casey, Brian and Laura and all the Jesuit crew.
