Day 1, star date 2012,
We got a late start to the day at 8:30 because of how late we got in. We met Casey, Jeff, Laura, and Brian. They are our dive masters as well as our “counselors” in a way. I got assigned to the sea dragon lead by Casey and Brian with franny and Ty, also seniors and my roommates. We got to dive 60 feet after the preliminary skills refresher drills. We got to see much small Marine life including varieties of shrimp, crab, and cleaner fish. on the way back I Casey let me drive the sea dragon back into the marina. After the dive one of the groups brought three lionfish (an invasive species) they caught up to the dock which we dissected. After the dive we went to a place called mad dogs for dinner which has amazing brownie sundaes. There’s a really addicting, frustrating game which involves putting a ring on a hook. I got it in one try, tying mr. Kirby, but he didn’t count it since I got it in 5 before then. I will have my revenge or something.
