Day 1 at BVI

0

Today I woke up at 6:30 because the roosters were crowing. Then I got dressed and took the taxi to breakfast in the hotel conference room. Then after breakfast we met everyone from dive BVI and then we learned some stuff about the program. Then we learned about coral planting and ate lunch by the pool at the hotel. After that we went to the marina and got ready to go on the boats to dive. We got all of our gear ready and went to a cove to go diving. We did some basic safety stuff in the water like regulator removal and partial goggle flood first and then went exploring. I saw Nassau grouper, French angelfish, squirrelfish, duster worms, and a lion fish. Our dive instructor Jeff shot the lion fish and fed it to a Murray eel. After that I saw a barracuda swimming in the water.
