This is the view that I woke up to today here in Virgin Gorda!
Today was amazing! It was the first day that we got to dive so I was super excited from the start. We headed out of the resort at about 7:45 to head over to where we will be having class over the next week. We all ate breakfast and then the class portion began. The Dive BVI staff introduced themselves and they are really fun and energetic people and I had a good time throughout the day with them. After this we had a sort of orientation to what we are going to be doing this week. I can’t wait for the turtle tagging and the coral transplanting! We then got to hang out by the pool for an hour or so and everyone chilled with friends until it was time to go diving. I was on team Sea Dragon with Casey and Brian! They were so much fun out there and really gave us a great experience. From the boat you could see all the way to the bottom! It was the clearest water i have ever seen. Once we were underwater I saw things such as yellow tail snapper, the spotted eel, and my favorite, the southern sting ray. We are about to go to dinner now and I can’t wait for the diving tomorrow!!!
